Your integration options

Can I use an existing tool?

Pipedrive is available as a direct beta CRM connection in OutboundSync. The Pipedrive rollout is intentionally lighter than Salesforce or HubSpot: it is one-way only, writes a Note on the matched Person, and onboarding is handled with the OutboundSync team. The advantage is a clean way to log Clay activity on Pipedrive Persons without custom middleware.

Where OutboundSync excels

OutboundSync helps teams land webhook-driven outbound activity as a Note on the matched Pipedrive Person without requiring manual logging or custom middleware.

  • One-way outbound email activity synced as a Note on the Pipedrive Person
  • Guided onboarding with the OutboundSync team
  • One-way sync that keeps the beta rollout simple and conflict-free

And we're here to help. Our customer success team has helped hundreds of companies sync tens of millions of records.

Pipedrive beta is currently one-way only and lighter than Salesforce or HubSpot in configurability and depth.

How onboarding works

  1. Connect Pipedrive: Add Pipedrive as a Connected Account / CRM connection in OutboundSync during onboarding.
  2. Connect Clay: Connect Clay and select it when creating your Pipedrive webhook receiver.
  3. Create the webhook receiver: Create the Pipedrive webhook receiver in OutboundSync so Clay activity can flow into Pipedrive.
  4. Run a test sync: Confirm Clay activity as a Note on a real Pipedrive Person before launch.
  5. Go live with the OutboundSync team: Launch the beta with guided onboarding and confirm the first production Note in Pipedrive.

Pipedrive beta rollout

Pipedrive is in beta today. Onboarding is handled with the OutboundSync team, and the current Pipedrive integration is one-way with lighter configurability than Salesforce or HubSpot.

Need clarification?

  • What data does OutboundSync write to Pipedrive?
OutboundSync syncs one-way email activity from Clay as a Note on the matched Pipedrive Person. Call events can also land as Notes when the source sends them.
  • Which Pipedrive objects can it update?
Each event writes a Note on the matched or created Pipedrive Person. Deals, Organizations, and Activities are not part of the beta. See the Pipedrive CRM beta guide for lookup methods and setup.
  • Do I need admin access to set it up?
Yes. Pipedrive onboarding is handled with the OutboundSync team. We help connect Pipedrive as a Connected Account, configure the webhook receiver, and validate your first test Note.
  • Is the Pipedrive integration one-way or two-way?
Pipedrive beta is one-way only. Activity flows from your sales engagement platform into Pipedrive.
  • Can synced Notes be used in Pipedrive filters and views?
Yes. Teams can use the synced Notes on Persons in the filters and views they build in Pipedrive. OutboundSync does not ship prebuilt filters or views.
  • Can I do this with Zapier, Make, or n8n?
You can use no-code builders for simple Clay automations, but step-based runs are costly and maintenance-heavy as event volume grows. OutboundSync provides a pre-built Clay CRM sync path with searchable historical logs beyond 30 days and usage-based pricing tied to sequencer activity.
  • When do I need a custom integration instead of no-code automation?
Custom middleware is best when your team wants to own every integration edge case. OutboundSync gives you a faster path with native CRM app capabilities, managed support, and a consistent outbound property model so upstream Clay changes do not force downstream rebuilds.
  • What breaks first when this scales?
Clay programs at scale need durable event handling to avoid attribution and routing drift. OutboundSync is designed for duplicates, idempotency, queueing, and burst resilience across production outbound workflows.
  • How is this Clay Pipedrive integration priced?
Pipedrive beta access is handled with the OutboundSync team. We scope the current rollout based on platform, volume, and setup requirements during onboarding.
  • Which Clay tier/plan do I need?
OutboundSync is compatible with every Clay plan (Free, Starter, Explorer, Pro, and Enterprise) because it integrates with Clay's Sequences product.
